I BROKE OUT MY 10 YEAR OLD COLORED PENCILS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE YESTERDAY
lolyes. >8'D And I drew HARVEY and it took a friggin LONG TIME. Seriously. I watched Where the Wild Things Are, Spirit, Antz, most of Season 2 of PPG, and an episode of Ghost adventures while working on this. Granted I was also working on a plush, but MY GOLLY. I USED UP LIKE ALL OF YESTERDAY
anyway
uh
I had to use my phone to take a picture of this so it's not the best quality in the world. 8I;; It's too big to fit in a scanner (liiiiike 17"x36", rough guestimate)
He looks awesooooome I mean I really like the way his expression looks.A lot of mischievous and a lot of cat-like.The colours really bring out the mood too, even if they're camera-taken : D And there's really something about his face that makes me think of these old 80's-90's fairytale illustrations, where the cats were really creepy and looked like that.(I hope that clears as some sort of compliment, because those cats are really stuck in my mind >w<)
I love the way you drew the roof and the lighting. I was surprized to see that this was traditional i thought this was digital at first. Any how, lovely work. Oh, and dont worry about the quality problem, happens to me all the time, i share your pain but great talent will always shine through....wow that was cheesy.
