....SUPPOSED TO BE MADIGAN THAT THEY'RE COWERING FROM. Because... she kidnaps them both... well mostly Elliot because Ozzy is 'dead' for a while until he isn't... and I DON'T WANT TO EXPLAIN THIS RIGHT NOW. THE TIME WILL COME. FOR NOW YOU CAN ALL JUST GO 'lolwut'.
I am 999.93% certain this looks obscenely awkward in the thumbnail image. AGH.

still, this was fun to draw. XD Maybe just because I've been doing nothing but commission work for the past two days. XD;
I sorta blame *Moopdrea for this.
I cropped it majorly for submittion to dA. xD Here's the original: [link] Since it's supposed to be like a title card for the 'episode' of the Elliot and Ozzy storything that I've got partially scripted, the composition looked majorly wonky without the text. Originality Technique ImpactHi there, me again <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Your texturing here is just off the scale, I love it to death. There is a nice degree of control and depth on the characters, what i really like is how simple you took something like an ear, and give it a unique shading style. It feels like a void but in a good way.
The expressions are spot on, i love how unique each one of their worried faces varies but still conveys the same mood of fear. The hair itself is nicely detailed, it does get a little over the top, but it works out really well.
What i enjoy is the different textures on the clothing, Elliot's glove for example is spot on fuzzy and shows that there is a different material used compared to Ozzy's jacket.
Coloring pallete wise you taken the best of both worlds and applied it to a pretty central and idle composition...
If there was only one negative I could say is that it leaves me wanting more of this awesomeness in terms of quality, I'm sure it took you a bit of time, but it does seem worth it. I'd love to see more of this, personally when I look at this piece I think of an epic children's story book.
