Each of the stuffed animals in Briar has an apartment that reflects their history or personality in some way.

Cathy the owl has a 50s styled apartment, both because that was time in which she was owned by a child, and because it helps to show her struggle to be ‘the ideal woman’ (something she very much is not).

Makes sense that each stuffed animal would feel comfortable in its own creation age since they are a product of it and would reflect the tastes at that time. Way cool, Kir!

I really like the feel of this one. I think the coloring for some reason gives me that 50's feel as well as the set up for the whole apartment. I will say though it did take me a second to find her in the picture I'm not sure if that's because she blended to well with the rest of the background or what. Still a wonderful piece
